Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for second level support of business support systems
  • Perform excellent analysis, problem determination and troubleshooting skills with the ability to know when to escalate to vendor and track status
  • Coordination and liaison with business support system vendors to resolve technical issues
  • Familiar with monitoring tools used for application monitoring and can define and interpret complex application alerts
  • Able to write monitoring scripts for application monitoring when required
  • Give timely response to incident tickets
  • Able to analyze the impact of system problems and maintain good communication with affected users
  • Review Unit Test/SIT system testing plans and testing results provided by system vendor
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned


  • University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in application support
  • SQL and Shell scripts knowledge is a must
  • Familiar with JAVA knowledge and Linux Operation System is an advantage
  • Prior work experience in telecommunication industry is an advantage
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese / Cantonese (Putonghua is an advantage)
